Why local actually matters here
Roasted coffee is on a clock from the moment it leaves the roaster. Most freshness advice is really about slowing that clock down.
A subscription from a Toronto roaster to a Toronto address removes several days of it. There is no cross-border transit, no warehouse layover, no sitting in a distribution centre in another province. We roast in small micro-batches and ship from here.
The format helps too. Each drip bag is ground and sealed individually, so nothing is exposed to air until you open that one pack. A bag of beans starts going flat the day you open it, which is why our storage guide exists. A drip bag subscription does not have that problem, which is also why buying a larger box costs you nothing in freshness.

At $2.25 a cup the largest box is about 12% cheaper per cup than the smallest, for exactly the same coffee. A single specialty coffee in most of downtown Toronto runs two to three times that.

Regular Size runs from $18.00 for a first 7 cup delivery to $72.01 for 28 cups. The Bulk Counter Box runs from $45.36 for 18 cups to $136.09 for 54 cups. After the first delivery the discount rises with size, so the ongoing per cup price ranges from $2.57 down to $2.25.
Which size should I pick?
Most subscribers take the 18 cup Bulk Counter Box monthly, which suits someone drinking a cup most days. Households and offices tend to go to 36 or 54 cups, where the per cup price drops to $2.39 and $2.25.
Can I pause or skip a delivery?
Yes. Tell us before the next billing date and we will delay it, change it or stop it. There is no minimum number of deliveries.
Do you deliver outside Toronto?
Yes, across every Canadian province, and to the contiguous United States. Toronto and the GTA are simply the fastest, usually 1 to 3 business days.
